First project meeting (kick off) in Estonia

The first project meeting in Estonia in mid-January 2020, an inaugural meeting of the project partners took place in Estonia. It addressed and analyzed the situation in the field of e-learning for people with disabilities in different countries. Together, measures were planned to achieve the project objectives and the project schedule was approved. Thus, a curriculum must be completed till May 2020, after which work on creating e-modules in the field of design will begin. E-modules, which will be created in the amount of almost 900 units, are planned to be completed in March 2021. The piloting of some modules can already be started parallel to the development of whole course. Teaching in the groups in Estland begins in March 2021 and ends in the spring of 2022.

There was great interest in the multiplier events, which were held simultaneously in Pärnu and Kuressaare. 34 stakeholders and partners participated. In addition to people with physical disabilities, there were also partners from the social sector and local governments. Everyone felt that the project was necessary and good support for People with Disabilities to get a job.

In addition, the article “E-vocational training helps people with disabilities to work” can be read in Estonian from the Teachers’ Magazine (24.01.20).
